This policy explains what Karamazovian collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Karamazovian is operated by Mauricio Jose Carias Galvez.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address, a display name, and your authentication credentials.
• Subscription status — whether your membership is active, and identifiers needed to manage it.
• Content you create — items you save, your personal tree, and any text you write on shared collections.
• Usage and technical data — privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics and basic logs needed to keep the Service running and secure.
• Support messages — what you send us when you ask for help.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full card number or banking details.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
• Vercel & Cloudflare — hosting, delivery, and security.
• Paddle — payments, billing, and tax.
• Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics (no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking).
• Resend — transactional and newsletter email.
• Sentry — error monitoring.

How we use your data

To provide and personalize the Service, process your subscription, send service and newsletter emails you have opted into, keep the Service secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not serve advertising.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Our analytics are cookieless.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@karamazovian.com.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, with appropriate safeguards where required.
