Sekiro is FromSoftware's game about a shinobi in a mythic version of feudal Japan, sworn to protect a young lord with the power to bring people back from death. The combat is not the dodge-and-poke of Dark Souls. It is a duel about posture: you parry, you pressure, you break the other person's balance until you can land a killing blow. It is brutally hard and not flexible about it. There are no easier builds to fall back on. You either learn the rhythm of the swordfight or you do not get through.
