Recorded with a full orchestra and choir at London's AIR Studios, this is the music FromSoftware's hunters fight to. It mostly stays silent while you explore, then erupts the moment a boss appears, so each track is tied to one specific dread. The choir does not sing words you can follow; it heaves and shrieks in Latinate nonsense, more weather than melody. "Ludwig, the Holy Blade" turns mid-fight from chaos into a real theme, and the shift lands like a confession. Several composers worked on it, but it holds together as one bleak, churning whole.
