Toby Fox followed Undertale with a separate game that uses the same characters in a new shape. You play Kris, a quiet teenager pulled into a strange Dark World alongside a party of companions, including the relentlessly cheerful Susie and a prince named Ralsei. It is being released in chapters over years rather than all at once. Chapters 1 through 4 arrived together on June 5, 2025, with seven planned in total and the first two playable free. The combat keeps Undertale's dodge-the-bullets fights but adds a full party, and the running theme is that your choices may matter far less than you assume.
