White Christmas

The Black Mirror feature-length special, and the meanest one. Jon Hamm and Rafe Spall sit in an isolated cabin on Christmas Day and tell each other how they got there. Three nested stories follow: a dating coach who watches through other men's eyes, a job that enslaves digital copies of people, and a breakup that curdles into something worse. Brooker builds each as its own small horror, then snaps them together so the frame story reveals what the whole thing was for. It is structured like a trap, and the spring is set from the first minute.
