Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland grew up in Tromsø, a town in the Arctic north of Norway, and made their debut in a basement. Melody A.M. is gentle electronic music, melodic, unhurried, full of soft synths and slow beats, and it ended up everywhere: coffee shops, ads, lounges, the kind of success that can make people forget how good the record is. Remind Me and Eple were the hits, the latter on a famous animated video and an Apple ad.
