By 2002 the Chemical Brothers had outlasted the big-beat craze they helped start. Come with Us is them refining it: huge breakbeats, psychedelic builds, and two guest vocals. Star Guitar, the standout, pairs a gentle four-note synth line with a music video by Michel Gondry in which every passing object out a train window lands exactly on a beat. The Test, sung by Richard Ashcroft of The Verve, closes the record on a long acid trip.
