Syclops is officially a Finnish band with names like Sven Kortehisto in the credits. In practice everyone knows it is Maurice Fulton, the Baltimore-born, Sheffield-based producer with one of the strangest and best catalogs in house music, working alone and refusing interviews. This 2013 album for the Running Back label was the project's first set of all-new material: an hour of rubbery basslines, drum machines hit slightly too hard, and synthesizers that sound like they are being tickled.
