

By 2008 the Syclops twelve-inches were cult objects, so DFA, the New York label behind LCD Soundsystem, gathered them into an album with a few new cuts. The anchor is Where's Jason's K, a 2006 single that built a whole track from one ridiculous, addictive bassline and an electric organ. Around it sit nine more pieces of house music played wrong on purpose, with titles like Mom, The Video Broke. It is the easiest place to meet one of dance music's true originals.
