Crazy P began in the mid-nineties as a cheeky sample act with a ruder name and slowly became a real band: Chris Todd and Jim Baron on instruments and production, Danielle Moore out front. By this 2015 album they were writing proper songs, eleven of them over an hour, disco and house played live with Moore singing about love and self-doubt like she means every word. Like a Fool opens it and is as good a song as they ever wrote.
