Cobblestone Jazz·47 min · 7 tracks

Cobblestone Jazz are three musicians from Victoria, British Columbia: Mathew Jonson, Danuel Tate, and Tyger Dhula. They do not write tracks at home and play them back at the gig. Everything is improvised live on synthesizers, drum machines, and keys, the way a jazz trio works, and this 2007 album for the !K7 label documents what that sounds like when it goes right. Their 2006 single Dump Truck made their name, and some editions include it as a bonus, along with a live disc recorded in Madrid.
