Spirit Catcher are Jean Vanesse and Thomas Sohet, a Belgian duo who recorded this 2007 album at their own Studio Bis in the small town of Beaumont. It is house music played on warm analog gear, closer to early-eighties boogie and Italo disco than to anything fashionable in 2007, released on 20/20 Vision, the Leeds label that also released Crazy P. The standout, Voodoo Knight, has outlived the rest of the record on dancefloors ever since.
