Tolga Fidan is an Istanbul-born producer who came up through the European minimal scene on the Berlin label Vakant. This 2011 release is six long tracks of stripped down house that he described, in his own liner note, as the record of an odd stretch of his life he needed to work through by making something. His brother Atilla appears on one track and did the artwork, and Jaw from the French duo dOP opens the record. It is club music with almost everything removed: a bassline, a few sounds, a voice now and then, a lot of air.
