Luv(sic) Hexalogy

In 2001 the Japanese producer Nujabes and the MC Shing02 released Luv(sic), a single about love strong enough to organize a life around. They kept adding chapters. Nujabes died in a car accident in 2010 with the series unfinished, and Shing02 completed the last parts over beats his friend left behind. This 2015 set collects all six chapters with remixes and instrumentals, more than two hours of jazz loops and steady English-language rhymes. Across fourteen years the subject shifts: the early parts are about romance, and the last ones are addressed to a dead friend.
