The Girl with the Needle

In 1919 Copenhagen, a poor seamstress with nothing left falls in with a woman who runs an unofficial service placing unwanted babies. Von Horn shoots it in stark black and white that looks lifted from early expressionist cinema, all shadow and hunger.
